Colourful, chaotic, marvellously wrong: the young Brazilian director Pedro Dannemann met our protagonist at the national theatre in Freiburg, Germany by chance during his internship. The unexpected encounter developed into an unusual friendship and a deep trusting relationship between the two men. The eighty-year-old German opened his diaries to the young Brazilian and he let him dive into his worlds, talking about his understanding of art, sexuality, political orientation, depression and the lost connection to his daughter Rosa and his grandchildren. Apart these serious issues, this film always keeps its Brazilian charm and its Brazilian straightforwardness.
