Geert Kollau is a Dutch mixed-media/photo artist, who, after having lived over a decade a tumultuous live in Amsterdam, has returned to his roots in the south of The Netherlands to fully focus on his work as an artist. He has developed his own distinctive style. A storyteller with a lot of symbolism in his work. This year Geert arrived at a new stage of his career as an artist. He gave himself time and space 'to lock himself up' in his studio. The process began with a special decor and ended with a new personal series of artworks. In this very personal documentary film maker Wilma Rekkers follows Geert intensively in his daily life as an artist in his studio for half a year.
